You-Sync : suivre ses ventes Vinted sans jamais connecter son compte

You-Sync: Track your Vinted Sales Without Ever Connecting Your Account

When you buy clothing in bulk to resell, the real work doesn't end at the point of sale.

You also need to know what each item actually brought in, how many items are left in stock, and what information to provide to the administration at year-end.

Most resellers still track their activity in a spreadsheet... or don't track it at all.

You-Sync is a French tool designed to automate the tracking of reselling activity on Vinted, without ever connecting to the seller's account.

👉 How does the application work?
👉 What does it track?
👉 And how does its Copilot help resellers achieve their goals?

We'll explain everything.

How You-Sync works

The principle: emails, nothing else

This is what distinguishes You-Sync from many tools used in the reselling world.

Many solutions promise to automate Vinted by connecting directly to the seller's account, posting on their behalf, re-engaging buyers, or bumping listings.

The problem is: these practices are prohibited by Vinted's terms of service and can lead to sanctions for the seller.

You-Sync has therefore chosen the opposite approach:

  • no connection to the Vinted account
  • no bots
  • no browser extensions
  • no automated actions on the platform

The seller simply sets up a redirection in their email inbox to send messages from Vinted to You-Sync:

  • sale made
  • shipping label available
  • package delivered
  • payment credited

These emails, already received by the seller, become the basis for tracking their activity.

👉 Once the redirection is set up, the process is automatic, and no action is taken directly on Vinted.

Only one entry: inventory

The application asks only one thing of the seller: to record what they buy.

For each item, they can enter:

  • the description
  • the brand
  • the category
  • the size
  • the purchase price

You-Sync then generates a short code to be copied into the Vinted listing.

At the time of sale, this code automatically links the received email to the correct item in stock.

👉 This is the only manipulation required. Everything else is built automatically.

For resellers who buy lots or boxes, this system is particularly interesting.

A box enters stock piece by piece, with its purchase cost, and then each garment sold is associated with its actual margin.

In the end, the seller knows precisely what the box brought them and whether it is worthwhile to reorder this type of lot.

What You-Sync automatically tracks

From the received emails, You-Sync tracks:

  • revenue
  • number of sales
  • actual margin after deducting fees
  • remaining stock and its value
  • shipments to be made
  • time remaining before order cancellation
  • customers and their recurrence
  • expenses

Sellers also find their shipping labels, accounting exports, and a view of their activity's evolution over time.

👉 The difference from a spreadsheet: tracking continues even during busy weeks, without needing to manually enter everything.

The You-Sync Copilot

Many tools can indicate what was sold last month.

The You-Sync Copilot goes further: it helps the seller determine the actions needed to achieve a specific goal.

A concrete objective, not just a wish

Let's take Pierre as an example.

He has been selling on Vinted for several months, but his results remain inconsistent. His goal is to achieve €2,000 in net margin per month.

The Copilot then analyzes:

  • his sales
  • his actual net margins
  • the time it takes to sell each category
  • the number of likes on his items

Based on this data, it identifies a trend specific to Pierre's activity.

It shows him what's working, but also what needs improvement:

  • items that remain in stock too long
  • prices that are too high
  • categories that sell too slowly

👉 The seller doesn't just receive a diagnosis: they also get concrete actions to correct the identified problems.

A deadline calculated based on actual results

From the first analysis, the Copilot estimates the time needed to achieve the objective.

The calculation is based on the actual sales rate, average basket value, and observed margin.

If Pierre wants to achieve his goal faster, the application quantifies the gap to be filled in terms of the number of items to sell and the margin to maintain.

No artificial intelligence involved

You-Sync chose to build its Copilot without artificial intelligence.

With several hundred products in a store, an AI could extrapolate certain results or miss important information.

The Copilot is therefore based solely on arithmetic calculations:

  • additions
  • divisions
  • comparisons

👉 The goal: to provide conclusions based solely on the seller's actual figures, without interpretation or invention.

Weekly tracking

The name "Copilot" accurately summarizes its role.

Like in an airplane, it doesn't pilot on behalf of the seller. It reads the data, compares it to the objective, and indicates whether the activity is on track.

Each week, Pierre receives a tracking report accompanied by recommended corrections.

Each month, a more comprehensive review allows for strategy adjustments if necessary.

Achieving a goal generally takes several months, and the duration depends on each seller's profile.

Anticipating seasons and commercial events

During this period, the seller may encounter several important events:

  • sales
  • Black Friday
  • Mother's Day
  • Christmas
  • seasonal changes

The Copilot alerts them to upcoming deadlines and can indicate actions to take or categories to add to stock.

For example, as summer approaches, it might recommend anticipating the purchase of swimwear and dresses.

These recommendations always depend on selling behavior and the items actually sold.

👉 The more sales the seller makes, the more precise and comprehensive the Copilot's analysis becomes.

The two conditions for using the Copilot

Two conditions are necessary:

  • have a subscription
  • have made at least 15 sales with You-Sync

Below 15 sales, the available data does not allow for sufficiently reliable advice.

After each new sale, the Copilot enriches its analysis to better support the seller.

Tax tracking and DAC7 thresholds

Since the European DAC7 directive, Vinted transmits information to the tax authorities for sellers who exceed 30 sales or €2,000 received in a year.

👉 This refers to 30 sales or €2,000, not both conditions cumulatively.

The transmission of this information does not automatically mean that the amounts will be taxed.

However, when a person buys clothes with the intention of reselling them, their activity is commercial, and their profit is taxable.

Tracking purchases, sales, and margins therefore becomes essential.

You-Sync indicates to the seller their standing with regard to these thresholds and prepares an export for their accountant at the end of the year.

Support in case of account blockage

Vinted account suspensions can be difficult to understand, and it's not always easy to find a contact person.

You-Sync includes a module that supports the seller step-by-step:

  • complaint to the platform
  • appeal to a dispute resolution body
  • referral to the regulator when necessary

The process is based on the rights granted by European digital services regulations.

👉 The seller is guided throughout the procedure, and letters are prepared for them.

You-Sync in practice

You-Sync is a French web application usable on both phones and computers.

A free version allows you to test the service.

Paid plans start at €12.90 per month. The complete plan, including the most advanced version of the Copilot, is offered at €24.90 per month.
